Engine 1

1921 Model T Ford (Hale pump)

This is the very first motorized engine the Fire Company purchased. It was put away in storage and then used by the Mosquito Commission for some time. It was then sold and miraculously found its way back to us. It was restored by Bob Leeds (Deputy Chief Northfield) and sold back to the company in 2011. It is now cared for by William (Buddy) DeHart who as made many modifications to make it safer and run better for parades. Engine 1 still pumps. At the 2016 Wheaton Village Fire Muster it drafted from the lake and pumped all day :).
